1.1 Define the term Internet of Things (IoT).
1.2 Recognize the common structure of an IoT system: application, data processing, network, sensing.
1.3 Identify physical components of an IoT system.
1.4 Identify processing requirements in an IoT system.
1.5 Recognize the origins and development of IoT.
Lesson 2: Internet of Things Examples
2.1 Recognize common examples of consumer and commercial IoT applications.
2.2 Recognize common examples of industrial IoT applications.
2.3 Recognize common examples of infrastructural IoT applications.
Lesson 3: Trends in Internet of Things
3.1 Recognize physical trends in the evolution of IOT like: miniaturization, ubiquity, scale.
3.2 Recognize the increasing role of governance in the design of IoT systems.
Lesson 4: Internet of Things Adoption
4.1 Understand key ethical considerations that must inform adoption of IoT systems like: decision making, privacy.
4.2 Understand security risks associated with adopting IoT systems.
4.3 Be aware of common interoperability challenges that may impact adoption of IoT systems.

The full course fees for this training is S$330, before any Government funding.
Singaporeans and PRs 21 years old & above, training grants are available.
For Foreigners, no training grants available for Individuals.
Grant Information
WSQ funding from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) is available to Singaporeans/PRs above 21.
(Both Individuals & Company Sponsored ).
Individual Singaporeans, 25 years & above can also use their SkillsFuture Credits for this training at Intellisoft.
Companies can claim Absentee Payroll.
Companies sending Locals & Foreign staff for training can avail SFEC Funding.
